Rochem Technical Services Ltd have won a contract for a turnkey to design, supply and install 7 combined online and offline gas turbine compressor wash systems for ONGc India's Mumbai high platform.

The systems will serve the Rolls Royce RB211 gas turbines that provide drive for the field process compressors. The aim of the project is to increase the efficiency of the gas turbines and minimise the requirement to shut down for offline washing procedures. 

Under the contract Rochem will supply 7 combined online and offline wash nozzles sets with a specially designed wash delivery system complete with a water treatment plant to provide high quality water for the washing procedure. 

Rochem will complete the offshore installation using its specialist team of engineers providing piping installation, electrical and instrument hook-ups and final commissioning, training and handover to ONGc staff. 

The contract is due for completion during the 1st quarter of 2008
